Shannon Hussey Renne

Shannon Hussey Renne, a native of Lake St. Louis, MO, joined Smith, Cashion, & Orr as an associate in 2024. Ms. Renne’s practice focuses primarily on representing contractors, subcontractors, and owners in construction law matters. This representation includes contract negotiation, commercial litigation, and homeowner disputes.

Ms. Renne graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2024 with a concentration in business law. During law school, Ms. Renne participated in the Transactional Law clinic where she assisted entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations in fostering economic development, increasing access to capital, and promoting job growth in the Mississippi Delta. Ms. Renne also served as a staff editor to the Mississippi Sports Law Review and as a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council.

Prior to law school, Ms. Renne received her degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2021. She is a current member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel.
